André & Michel Quenard Chignin Bergeron Les Roches Blanches

Roussanne is famous in the Savoie, where its better known by its local name, Bergeron. This bottling was made by the team at the family-run domaine André et Michel Quenard, who tend 22ha of organically farmed vines on the steep limestone scree of the Côteau de Torméry. This is a beautifully refined, tenderly floral, and refreshing Roussanne with aromas of peach, apricots, and minerals, as well as a distinct streak of acidity absent from many of its Southern Rhône cousins.
