This is the first Syrah produced by winemaker Carroll Kemp at Alma Fria, though he has decades of experience with the varietal from his time at Red Car. Sourced from famed sommelier Raj Parr’s Stolo vineyard in the brand new San Luis Obispo (SLO) Coast AVA, this is cool-climate Syrah in all its striking beauty. Bright, refreshing, and light-on-its-feet, this red sings of black pepper, subtle purple flower aromatics, and juicy bramble fruit.
